dod_kolsch installation guide

  1. go to http://www.7-zip.org/ and download the latest version of 7zip to unpack the .7z file (probably Winrar might work too)

  2. open dod_kolsch.7z with 7zFM from C:\Program Files\7-Zip (or where ever you installed 7zip)
    the executable for opening 7z files
  3. mark all folders in the 7z file (maps, materials, resource) and click on extract
  4. a window pops up and requests the target folder. this should be C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\YOUR_ACCOUNT_HERE\day of defeat source\dod (or if you have installed steam on a different partition then you would have to change it so it points to the "dod" folder regarding your setup)
    extracting all files
  5. play!
